How Expensive is Zurich, Switzerland? What to See in One of the Most Popular Swiss Cities

How Expensive is Zurich, Switzerland? What to See in One of the Most Popular Swiss Cities

Zurich was the first place that we visited in Switzerland - one of the most popular destinations in the country. It's quite small and charming, it has a unique atmosphere more of a town rather than a city. As it happened many times before, although Zurich was very nice, it was my least favorite destination in the country. Just like with Ljubljana in Slovenia or Bucharest in Romania. If you want to see the real Swiss paradise, you must go out of the popular cities such as Zurich or Geneva.

Planning an Adventure Trip is So Important

Planning an Adventure Trip is So Important

Planning an adventure trip is the best way of enjoying a different side of the vacation experience. There are a lot of things you need to consider when it comes to improving the way you are enjoying vacations. Travel is something that can really give you fresh experiences and improves your horizons. Many people assume that travel has to involve getting on a plane and flying abroad, but this isn’t always the case.

The Best Trail in Argentinian Patagonia - El Chalten to Fitz Roy

The Best Trail in Argentinian Patagonia - El Chalten to Fitz Roy

The trail from El Chalten to the unique, rugged mountain Fitz Roy is one of the best in the Los Glacieres National Park - the part of Argentinian Patagonia (of which the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier is the main attraction - I’ll write about it soon). Fitz Roy is probably the most distinctive summit in the country - it consists of extremely sharp, triangular-shaped, pointy peaks that can be seen from afar along the beautiful hike. The town of El Chalten is a perfect base for hiking and the treks around are not only quite easy and affordable, but also are an amazing warm-up before doing the more difficult and exhausting W-Trek in Chile's Torres del Paine National Park.

10 Countries to Visit Before You Die (Although at first You Would Never Think So)

10 Countries to Visit Before You Die (Although at first You Would Never Think So)

France, Spain, Italy, Thailand... These countries are on everyone's bucket list and, of course, everyone heard about how great they are. In this list, I'm taking a different approach. I don't feel like talking about the places you all know well - you won't find Maldives, London or Australia here. I want to show you some of my favorite countries I've been to. But from those, I chose the countries that are totally forgotten by the tourists magazines, travel bloggers or TV shows. You've probably never thought of visiting them or never heard that some of them even exist. And, thanks to the media, you most likely hold a negative perception.

I would like to break those stereotypes. It's a very personal and subjective list based on my own experiences. You, of course, may disagree. However, what I wanted to show is that every part of our world is beautiful if it's presented in the right way. It doesn't matter if a place or a country is popular/trendy or it's "cool" to be seen there so you can show off your selfies on Instagram. I heard questions like whether I'm out of my mind to go on vacation, lets's say, to Bosnia instead of Spain many times. But we should keep an open mind - the less popular spots often turn out to be so much better.

Sydney, Australia: a New Serviced Apartments Market Frontier

Sydney, Australia: a New Serviced Apartments Market Frontier

Sydney is one of World's most vibrant gateway cities. Starting of as little more than a transport hub down under, in modern times it has fully utilized its unique geographical position, becoming sort of a mediator between the Old World, the East and the West. This was not done by arms, but by trade, and the market forces governing the city are especially prominent when taking a look at its housing market.

Avaza, Turkmenistan - World's Strangest Seaside Resort

Avaza, Turkmenistan - World's Strangest Seaside Resort

Having visited the unique, “out of this world” ever burning crater called "Door to hell" (take a look at my post about it), we headed to yet another, not less spectacular wonder - white-red Yangikala Canyons. On the way, we stopped in Avaza - a resort town located near the city of Turkmenbashi on the Caspian Sea coast. This town was like no other we'd ever seen. Built very recently, virtually in the middle of nowhere - full of ultra modern high-rise buildings and 5 star hotels - Avaza is probably the least known and most peculiar resort in the world. And it’s inspiring to be the second Dubai.

Wild Horses in Kleinmond

Wild Horses in Kleinmond

The Southern coast of Africa offers visitors to what has now become known as the Cape Whale Coast, a bounty of exciting activities that are geared at outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

If you’ve experienced the adrenaline of tandem paragliding, zip-lined your way between towering trees and leapt your way down into the depths of your bucket list when you finally did that much feared bungee jump, then it’s time to kick-back and relax. Slow down to a trot, so to speak.
